• Basic Yoga

    This beginner level class is a great place to learn or sustain your practice, even if you are absolutely new to your mat, as we focus on the foundations of basic yoga: movement, breath and mindfulness. Expect clear and compassionate instructions, simplicity and ease of movement as you are guided through accessible basic yoga poses with focus on building full body strength, balance and flexibility. Learn how to support your practice using props and modifications.

  • Beginners Yoga

    This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. Class is slower paced than an all-levels class, and focused on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment. All bodies are welcome.

  • Restorative

    Restorative yoga is a gentle therapeutic practice with floor-based restorative postures designed to deeply relax the nervous system and whole body. This practice uses bolsters, blankets and blocks to support the body through longer holds and gives the practitioner an experience of physical calm and release of physical and mental tension. Restorative yoga is recommended for someone who is dealing with stress, injuries, illness as well as beginners and anyone who needs a gentle yoga class with focus on rest and relaxation.

  • Yoga Nidra

    Yoga nidra, a Sanskrit term meaning "yogic sleep" is a deep relaxation technique and a form of meditation. Also called "psychic sleep," yoga nidra is a state between sleeping and waking. The body is completely relaxed and the practitioner turns the awareness inward by listening to a set of instructions; much like a guided meditation. Performing yoga nidra involves practicing pratyahara ("withdrawal of the senses"), which is the fifth limb of Ashtanga yoga.

    Yoga nidra practice results in deep relaxation and expands the individual's self-awareness.

  • Soul Shine Gentle Yoga Flow

    This will be a gentle flow class. We will focus on improving flexibility, balance and strength while using the mind body connection and breath.

    This class is suitable for all skill levels and modifications and props will be offered when necessary.

  • Soul Shine Yoga Flow

    This flow style class is designed to meet you where you are and give you what you need. You will move with breath and movement and explore creative ways to flow through gentle stretches, Sun Salutations and practice fun poses while building full body strength, balance and flexibility, as well as stimulating your cardiovascular system. You will leave feeling refreshed, nourished, calm and balanced. Soul Shine Flow is taught in a multi-level fashion, but basic yoga experience is recommended.

    Our Yoga for Seniors & Beginners class offers many benefits including better balance, improved flexibility, enhanced breathing, stronger bones, better sleep and reduced anxiety and stress.
